The contact from Bolivia finally replied! But all they said was that they sent our questions to other organizations that we should star collaborating with which include Save the Children Canada, USA, and Spain. We will continue to communicate with them to make sure that our project goes smoothly.
Hanna, Danielle, and me went to Jibarra to talk to the event coordinator of the restaurant. He was very willing to help us and was flexible with the dates and other aspects of the event that we planned. The only problem was the price of the food that we are suppose to pay for the dinner. When I spoke with him on the phone the last time he said that the average price for a meal per person was $40.00. So after talking to him for a while, we asked him if we could get a discount for the food. He said he would calculate the benefit dinner costs and get back to us. The restaurant is a very classy place, and would be a great place to have it since we are targeting professionals to come to our dinner this time.
I met with Jimmy the Sunday before the break. He answered some of my questions that dealt with the location of Asanquiri and the water sources around the capacitation center. I will go over the information in better detail at the next meeting.
